Good cheap beer and a bar like no other in Houston. I think the people who leave bad reviews don’t understand this is a bar run by graduate students serving beer at cost keeping a tradition alive. The people and staff are super friendly. Don’t expect cocktails or anything fancy. But do expect a good time, low prices, and a bar like no other.

This is a horrible bar. Tight space, smell of spilled beer, unprofessional bartenders, cash only, awkward music, awful decor, no cocktails, no liquors (but they have white claws), no pool table, no parking nearby unless you are willing to risk getting a ticket. Don't go there!

A great College hole in the wall (literally). They don’t take credit cards and I had cash so I offered to pay for 5 people. I took out a 100 expecting some change and was told the bill was 10 (wow!). Great prices and a hogwarts like vibe. Transported me to my college days...

It's a beer garden beirgarten) nestled amidst a Grove of trees inside Rice University campus. Beer dispensed from the basement of Chemistry Dept bldg. Just a great atmosphere and experience, dissimilar from anything the great City of Houston has to offer. Yes, beer is cheap, but the conversations are priceless.
